Rare German M1935 Combat Helmet with SS Insignia & Original Liner

sThis incredibly rare German M1935 Combat Helmet is an extraordinary piece of history, most notably featuring the iconic SS (Schutzstaffel) insignia, prominently displayed and remarkably well-preserved. Originality of the liner is unknown but wear is right and it is also marked with the name "Peter Spiller" . As well as the size stamp "56" on one of the flaps. This M35 has a small "SE64" stamp near the interior earpiece, and an additional stamp of "385" on the back of the interior, likely denoting its factory manufacturer or batch.

The M1935 helmet set new standards in military headgear with its innovative rolled-edge construction, lightweight design, and superior protection. Often associated with early WWII campaigns, it became iconic for its use by German armed forces.
